Unstoppable by Nick Vujicic is a fantastic read. If you don’t know who Nick Vujicic is, then you’ll want to get on YouTube and check out a few of his videos right now. He has a speaking style and narrative voice that is dynamic and informative, and his message is one that needs to be heard.
Much more than just a self-help or motivational book, Unstoppable is a charge to see yourself as God would see you and to live in His purpose. Nick uses many great examples from his own ministry – both the high’s (like marriage and finding his purpose) and low’s (on the brink of a failed business and the perception of a failed life) to show how God has a way of revealing his purpose through the events in our lives.
One of the things that is most refreshing about Nick is his willingness to make his life an open book. And we, the readers, are the privileged ones who get to benefit from it. Removed are any pretense or facade, which allows Nick to powerfully demonstrate how God works in our lives to bring him to His purpose. And lets be honest, purpose is kind of a big deal. We starve for want of it.
Unstoppable is a fun, insightful page-turner. You, too, will find yourself quickly getting wrapped up in Nick’s tale. It’s pretty much impossible not to. Plus, there is ample opportunity for laughing, crying, and even a few Ahhhhhh’s between the book covers. AND it might even inspire you to put a little faith into action (If your into that kind of thing.).
